Description

Zigolo Mg 12 is a three-axis high-wing aircraft with 2 struts and 2 jury struts. Depending on the main configuration, it is powered by a push propeller (see paragraph) or towed to be used as a glider. It has a two-wheel suspension landing gear, which is installed almost in the center of gravity to simplify movement on the ground, while there is a wheel at the tail. The Zigolo has a tubular aluminum frame. The parts are fastened with bolts and rivets. The entire structure of the aircraft consists of the assembly of the two wings with the central module and the engine support, which together support the tail. The controls are operated in the traditional way using tie rods for the rudder and Bowden cables for pitch and roll. The plane has no trim or flaps. The covering of the wing surfaces is made of Shrink Dacron fabric with a painted finish.
